Over time, we are going to use this blog to tell you what we're up to and to tell you what our artists are up to. We'll keep you up to date with performances, exhibitions, links, adventures and ideas that are happening in the Firebird world.
We're also going to use this space as an opportunity to bring some wider debates into play. We'll be asking questions about the role of music and art in social cohesion, about the role of arts organisations in general, about art as development and the fundamental right of expression that many of our artists are so passionate about. We'll be talking to artists that are using their work to promote hope and social change, and to people who have had their lives changed through music, dance, visual art and film.
